Sago Fruit Pudding | Sago Fruit Salad | Valentine's Special

Sago Fruit Pudding or Salad!!!!Sound yummy.Isn't it?You know what am so tired of  skipping lunch and breakfast. The result leads to severe headache.Having that in mind, want to replace the recipes with some fresh pudding or salad.Thinking the whole day to do something with fruits apart from salad or smoothie or any other bakes.Dont say baking. There is no use of oven here.Severe power cut in between stress will definitely occupy mind to fasten our work to bake something. So thinking to make pudding + salad with sago pearls. This tastes really yummy and fulfill the meal and also a meal replacement.

Apart from smoothies and drinks, salad with fruits are more healthier. So here i used low calorie fruits which means skipped banana.Apple and pomegranate seeds along with little orange pulp with yummilicious rabdi and sago dessert.Layering is important here and serve chilled.
Garnish with fresh fruits on top and serve.Quick Valentine Special and perfect for celebration.

Here Pari from Foodelicious Conducting an event regarding Valentine's day with Cuponation.

Preparation time:10 minutes
Serves:2

Ingredients Needed:
  1. Apple - 1 medium size roughly chopped into 1 inch pieces
  2. Pomegranate  seeds  - 1/2 cup
  3. Orange pulp - 3 tbsp
  4. Sago pearls - 100 gm
  5. Sugar - 4 tbsp
  6. Milk - 200 ml + 200 ml
  7. Condensed milk - 1tbsp
  8. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tbsp
  9. Butter - 2 tbsp

Method:

  • Chop the fruits into your desired sizes and arrange in a bowl as shown.
  • Soak sago pearls for an hour and drain the water.Heat butter in pan and add sago pearls and saute them in low flame.
  • Add 200 ml milk and cook sago pearls in milk for 2 minutes.
  • After it get cooked, add sugar and stir continuously.
  • After it get thicken, transfer to a bowl and cool.
  • For rabri, heat 200 milk and boil until it becomes half the amount and add sugar with 1 tbsp of condensed milk and cardamom powder.cool in bowl.Your rabdi is ready.
  • Now arrange the fruits in a serving bowl and pour the cooled rabdi.Again arrange a layer of fruits and top that with sago pudding.
  • Serve chilled.

Tips:
  • Also use chocolate glaze over the sago pearls. It really taste yum.
  • Adding banana i skipped here because i want to use low calorie fruits.
  • Crunchy apple and pomegranate seeds provide cruncyness. But after cooling they combined with rabdi and gives you a prefect pudding.
  • If you want to add bananas, the banana should be ripen and firm. Not so ripen it will leads to soggy pudding.Orange pulp provides sour to the pudding.Definitely these combo came out well.

Sago Fruit Pudding Is Ready To Serve!!!!
Have A Nice Day!!!!
