Milk Cake | 15 Minutes Steamed Cake | Chocolate Milk Glaze

 Hope u all had a great weekend.Now coming to today's recipe is a steamed cake from jamun mix.Quite interesting isn't it.Here comes the recipe.With condensed milk,ordinary milk,all purpose flour and one cup of gulab jamun mix makes a wonderful cake.Its a steamed version.Extra i added sugar and vanilla essence.A lovely 15 minutes sponge cake without baking.
Am always find an alternative or different way other than the original one.I saw in some sites made cookies with jamun mix.I thought this would be so easy and not finished that much am using milk chocolate glaze for that.Rabri also goes well with this.Purely a milk recipe.

This is milk treat for all my friends.Doing experiments with the ingredients is a fanatastic experience.That experiment we made if it was a hit there was no words to say.That i had when making this.

Lets start cooking.....


 Preparation time:10 minutes
Cooking time +standing time:30 minutes
Serves:5

Ingredients:
  1. Jamun mix - 1 cup
  2. Maida / all pupose flour - 100 gm
  3. Ordinary milk - 100 ml
  4. Condensed milk - 50 ml
  5. Sugar - 300 gm
  6. Vanilla essence - 2 drops
  7. Dairy milk chocolate - 200 gm
  8. Milk - 200 ml for glaze



 Method:

  • Mix jamun mix and sieved  maida/all purpose flour.Don't put jamun mix in open air.It will easily solidify.
  • Whisk sugar with the flour mixture.Add condensed milk and whisk continuously.
  • Add vanilla essence and add milk little by little and make thick batter.
  • Prepare the baking tin by greasing butter and flour and pour the batter.Level it by the spatula.
  • Steam cook the cake in idli cooker or ordinary cooker for 15-20 minutes.
  • Check with fork or knife whether it is cooked or not.
  • When it gets cooked,switch off the flame and take the tin out and remain for another 15 minutes.
  • Transfer the cake to another plate.



For glaze:
Dissolve chocolate in 100 ml milk and made the milk thick and pour the hot glaze over the cake.
Chill for 1 hour and serve.



Tip:
  •  Use cocoa powder along with the mixture.
  • Also use royal icing or frosting.
  • Perfect egg substitute cake.Butterless version good for health.
  • Use almond essence instead of vanilla essence.
  • Look like sponge cake and easy to make.



Perfect milk with Chocolate galze is ready to serve!!!
